Dr. K.C. Balaji is an actively practicing urological oncologist with over 30 years of continuous experience of American Academia in education, senior management, and as a physician-scientist.

Dr. Balaji is the first in the world to pioneer several urological robotic surgeries, which are now performed commonly across the globe. Dr Balaji’s laboratory was the first to discover down regulation of a novel protein called Protein Kinase D1 (PrKD1) in Prostate Cancer leading to understanding of a new PrKD1-centric signaling pathway contributing to Prostate Cancer progression. Dr.Balaji is credited with over 300 peer reviewed publications spanning from clinical studies to original basic science research. Based on over three decades of clinical practice, healthcare delivery experience in several countries across the world and experience as an advisor to healthcare businesses, Dr. Balaji recognized an unmet need among individuals making critical healthcare and career decisions, and businesses developing strategic initiatives for an unbiased, informed, and data-driven consultation with experts and thought leaders in the field.
